Bud Lights

Thousands upon thousands of brilliant lights draped across expanses of old red brick: For a festive visual on a grand scale, how can you top that? It's not easy. The beloved local tradition that is the Holiday Lights Display at Anheuser-Busch Brewery (1 Busch Place; www.anheuser-busch.com), raises the bar impossibly high every Christmastime, but don't look now because that bar just levitated. This year the experience will include even more lights — and, for the first time, live music, fire pits for roasting s'mores along with free beer samples for the 21-and-up adults present. You can also get your photo taken with the Clydesdales, and this season marks the Yuletide debut of A-B's in-house brewpub, the Biergarten. The expanded holiday-lights experience is open from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday through December 28. The familiar drive-through tours through the brewery complex can still be taken Sunday through Thursday evenings from dusk until midnight, November 24 to December 26. Tours are free, but you'll need money for s'mores kits, kettle corn and hot chocolate.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: Nov. 24. Continues through Dec. 26, 2013
