When it comes to sports fanatics, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who isn't a baseball or football enthusiast, but a growing segment has been bucking that trend and following instead the competition that's been dubbed "the most dangerous eight seconds in all of sports" — bull riding. This weekend the Professional Bull Riders tour delivers a heaping helping of those eight-second outbursts when it visits the Scottrade Center (1401 Clark Avenue, 314-241-1888 or www.scottradecenter.com) at 8 p.m. Friday, 6:50 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday (February 27 through March 1). The bulls, ranked by buckoff time and sporting monikers such as Apache Leap, Chicken On A Chain and El Presidente, are as much the stars of the show as the cowboys. Riders scheduled to compete include PBR stars such as J.B. Mauney and Cord McCoy, plus Missouri's Luke Snyder, Matt Bohon and Dustin Hall. Tickets are $10 to $100.
