Brothers at Arms

Though it's never been considered one of his touchstone plays, Arthur Miller's The Price has seen its stock rise somewhat in the decades since its Broadway debut in 1968. Brothers Victor and Walter Franz agree to meet, after years of not communicating with each other, in order to sort out and sell off their dead parents' furniture. Dealing with the personal possessions of loved ones after their death is hard enough, but adding to this emotional burden is the hugely complex, fraught relationship between Victor and Walter -- the former a New York City police officer, the latter a successful scientist. You can experience New Jewish Theatre's production of The Price at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday (March 20 through April 6) in the Wool Studio Theatre at the Jewish Community Center (2 Millstone Campus Drive, Creve Coeur; 314-442-3283 or www.newjewishttheatre.org) Tickets are $35 to $39.
Wednesdays, Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 & 7:30 p.m. Starts: March 20. Continues through April 6, 2014
