In recent years, the most vocal proponent of breadstuffs has been Father Dominic Garramone, the gentle Converse-wearin’ soul who hosts the hit PBS program Breaking Bread with Father Dominic. He cracks wise, he breaks bread, he tickles your funny bone and at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, ol’ Father D discusses his book, ’Tis the Season to be Baking, at the 2007 Holiday Fair at the Missouri History Museum (Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue). A host of local authors join him in promoting their books, and there are activities for the kids and free gift wrapping for anything you buy at the fair.
