Blackhearts and Blue Dancing

The alternative pin-up website SuicideGirls.com was founded in 2001, and within two years the brand was already taking the show on the road with the Blackheart Burlesque tour. At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, SuicideGirls debuted its latest take on the winning formula, a sexy geek-fantasy show of choreographed striptease in which the girls' full-frontal affront is barely covered with a touch of cosplay inspired by Star Wars, Game of Thrones, the Justice League and even A Clockwork Orange. SuicideGirls: Blackheart Burlesque takes it off closer to home tonight at 8 p.m., deep inside Pop's Nightclub (401 Monsanto Avenue, Sauget, Illinois; 618-274-6720 or www.popsrocks.com). Tickets for the eighteen-and-over show are $25, but there is a $2 surcharge for attendees younger than 21.
