BeyoncÉ/Robin Thicke

7 p.m. Sunday, July 8. Scottrade Center, 1401 Clark Avenue.

She's bigger than Destiny's Child, bigger than her own last name, and bigger than pop music. If it's a diva for our age that you want, look no farther than the former Beyoncé Knowles, who's as close to Miss (Diana) Ross as this generation's likely to get. That's why the R&B megastar was the only logical choice to portray Diana in the Supremes-based film Dreamgirls. And it's why her current tour, which features special guest Robin Thicke, is only coincidentally in support of her latest album, 2006's chart-topping B'Day. An evening called, simply, "The Beyoncé Experience" reminds you whose world we're just renting space in.
