Bikram Yoga St. Louis

You've been going out a lot lately. Exercising has become less and less of a priority. And healthy eating? Well, let's just say that your orange-stained hands have betrayed your nightly affair with a one Mr. Chester Cheetah. It's time to detoxify, and fast! You don't want to look like you're 80 years old — you've only just begun to live. One step in the right direction is getting back on the exercise treadmill. In fact, you should start a yoga regimen. But you don't know anything about stretching, and the only poses you've struck are on the dance floor (not a good idea, by the way). Plus, you've heard classes can be expensive, so you're looking to get a significant amount of bang for your $15. That's why you should begin the practice of Bikram, or hot, yoga at the only authorized Bikram yoga joint in the state. Here's what's going to happen: You'll drink a Big Gulp's amount of water before class, you (and your open mind) will step into a 105-degree room, you'll perspire your brains out for the next 90 minutes while going through a series of 26 postures with your fellow students and a well-trained instructor, your body will thank you after you've sweated out a good chunk of interior pollution, and you will repeat. And you won't need to worry about rearranging your life to attend some session that's only offered when there's a full moon — this studio schedules three classes every day except Sunday (two classes). And there's almost always a newbie joining the group, so even though the heat is most assuredly on, the pressure's off.
