Fenton-born standup Josh Arnold is a big chuckling bear of a comic who often finds it necessary to defend himself from a hostile world. Rather than "fat," he insists that he is "half-fat" — overweight only from his head down to his waist. "I have legs that deer have admired from afar," he points out. Not only has Arnold opened for such major talents as Todd Barry and Dave Attell, he's also a road warrior, hauling to comedy clubs both on and off the beaten path throughout the Midwest just about every weekend. But perhaps his biggest claim to fame has been his regular appearances on The Bob & Tom Show, a nationally syndicated radio program to which hundreds of thousands tune in every morning. It's a big deal for any stand-up to be invited, and an honor to be invited back — an honor that Josh Arnold has earned.
