In November of 2012, FM radio station WFUN (95.5 on the dial) put "Foxy 95.5" to bed with Boyz II Men's "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," a fitting end for the urban adult-contemporary format for which it was known. Equally appropriate is the track that ushered in the station's new incarnation, the 1980 jam "Fantastic Voyage" by Lakeside. "Old School 95.5," as the station is now called, specializes in urban oldies and is unafraid to bring funk, soul and golden-era hip-hop to the St. Louis airwaves. Whereas Foxy's programming was best suited for marathon sessions of late-night fun between consenting adults, the new format mixes the likes of Doug E. Fresh and En Vogue alongside the Isley Brothers and Teddy Pendergrass, making the station equally enjoyable with the lights on or off.
