Forget the skate parks attached to community centers and shopping malls. You want some legitimate skateboarding street cred? Try under the bridge that spans the railroad tracks at Kingshighway and Bischoff Avenue in south city, where a group of skateboarders has been building a DIY skate park for the past year or so. The park's free and open to the public and includes a half pipe, ramps and other obstacles. It also has the blessing of city officials, who credit the skaters with cleaning up a former dumping ground.
