You can find the occasional little black dress in this surprisingly spacious shop in the Central West End, or a sleek dark tunic. But those are the exceptions that prove the rule: The clothes here veer away from minimalism and toward glorious, cheerful color. It's not for nothing that Libby's calls itself "the Picasso of women's clothing" — and we're not talking about the artist's famously gloomy Blue Period. There are bright smocks, big Cubist patterns, splashes of ruffle. It's how your grandma would dress if she just happened to be an art teacher or one of those cool old dames who wears purple. The prices are surprisingly affordable, and the jewelry is definitely worth checking out.
