To celebrate a decade of ice-cream-making excellence, Serendipity recently held a weeklong bash to fete its new flavor "Caramel Decade-ance" — a salty caramel ice cream with chocolate-covered caramel cups! Sticking around for ten years is no accident; it's all about consistency. Serendipity makes its delicious ice cream on-site, with 28 flavors in the case at any given time. Inside the parlor located in Webster Groves, you can drop by to sample a "Tiny Trio," mini scoops of three flavors in a cup or cone, or try out some of the all-time favorites, including the "Cookie Monster," the shop's take on classic cookie dough that adds cookies and cream, and swirls it all through vanilla ice cream, coloring it a beautiful shade of blue. And there's the one flavor that all St. Louisans can agree on: the gooey-butter-cake ice cream, which is as delectable as it sounds. Serendipity is so well respected that restaurants across town rely upon it for the ice cream for all their dessert needs.
