When analyzing hair, let us not take such a narrow view that we consider only the follicles that top one's skull. Take, for example, KSDK-TV (Channel 5) "backpack journalist" Casey Nolen. A cursory evaluation would likely advance no further than Nolen's receding hairline and thus would completely miss the newsdude's oh-so-tasteful addition of a chinstrap and moustache, which complete the package like the ribbon and bow on a gift from Santa. For that matter, Nolen's northernmost point is worthy of acclaim in and of itself. The landing strip that sweeps back away from his forehead causes the viewer's eye to reverse course and travel back down to the central facial feature: that engagingly earnest upper-lip brow. To borrow from the great hip-hop philosopher Atmosphere, life handed Casey Nolen lemons, and he painted that shit gold.
