Tortillaria often goes unmentioned during discussions of the great St. Louis Mexican restaurants. (It certainly doesn't pass unnoticed among the workers of the Central West End, as anyone who has visited during the lunch rush can attest.) Perhaps that's because Tortillaria doesn't call attention to its fresh, casual Mexican fare. It doesn't need to. The food speaks for itself. The guacamole is a perfect example: ripe avocado freshly mashed and then perfectly seasoned with tomato, onion, cilantro and lime. Much like Tortillaria its ownself, you'd speak more about how delicious the guacamole is, but you're too busy enjoying it to talk.
