The songs of Indian Blanket are simple and concise, with an ability to touch even the coldest of hearts. Joe Andert's trusty guitar and his earnest, driving voice lead the listener through anthemic choruses as lonely ghost vocals help carry the refrains, providing hope to the afraid and broken. He's unafraid to wear pain openly through song. When the revolving door of accompanying musicians brings their contributions into the songs, they are beautiful aural sculptures that convey the same dichotomy between loneliness and hope. These themes resonate in the consciousness of all people, but Indian Blanket brings them to the forefront of your mind and invites you to be reflective and at peace.
