It only looks like a dive bar from the outside. Inside, the Famous Bar is a gem — a subtly stylish, perfectly lit paradise where they mix a mean cocktail without an inch of pretension. And there's simply no better drink to try here than the classic "Famous Bloody Mary." No premixed Zing Zang here; you can watch the bartender carefully pour the vodka, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and beef bullion, accented with celery salt, fresh cracked pepper, lime and a big ol' stalk of celery. Even the presentation is nifty: It's served on the most cunning little coaster, complete with a second circle for your shot of beer, which automatically gets included as a chaser here. If you're feeling adventurous, we recommend the Quail Mary, made with bacon-infused vodka and garnished with a pickled quail egg, wrapped in beef jerky. Yummy!
