Best Asian Market

Olive Farmers Market

The Olive Farmers Market is not a farmers' market—unless someone out there's farming cuttlefish and fresh red snapper. But it does share in the farmers'-market concept of bounty from all directions. As one of the biggest markets in University City's unofficial Chinatown, the Olive Farmers Market feels more like a community hub than a mere store. It's the most spacious of the markets on Olive, with clear aisles that make everything easy to find (if not always easy to identify). And they have everything—tea sets, premade dumplings, a dozen varieties of pocky, fish fresh and frozen, and produce galore, from the unidentifiable to the identifiably cheaper-than-the-grocery's—and fresher, too.
