The ever-popular Grease kicked off its nine-day run at the Muny on July 31, 2014. The musical, which features The Office star Phyllis Smith as lead teacher Miss Lynch, focuses on what happens when a "good girl" and a "bad boy" fall in love in the 1950s. Grease runs nightly through August 8.

For this slideshow, Riverfront Times photographer Caroline Yoo checked out the prep work that happens before the production hits the stage, from props coordination to soundcheck. She also found quite a few Pink Ladies who were ready to rock and roll.
