Last summer might have been the season of the twerk, but let's make some different kinds of memories this summer. Let's make magic outdoors, under starry nights and sunny skies; let's come together with our community members, and eat, shop and be merry. And let's start this very weekend at the Webster Community Arts Foundation's Art & Air festival, happening in Webster Groves on the grounds of Webster University and Eden Theological Seminary (near East Lockwood and North Bompart avenues). The outdoor art-fest runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday (June 6 through 8), which gives us plenty of time to peruse the creative offerings of 100-plus juried artists from all over, listen to live music, and munch on eats from Straub's, Milagro Modern Mexican, Zia's and others. Check out for an event map and more information; admission is free.
Fri., June 6, 6-10 p.m.; Sat., June 7, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sun., June 8, 12-5 p.m., 2014
