When: Tuesdays-Fridays, 8 p.m., Saturdays, 4 & 8 p.m. and Sundays, 2 & 7:30 p.m. Continues through Aug. 16 2015
Cole Porter's delirious musical Anything Goes takes a young heiress trapped in an engagement of convenience, a lovestruck young stockbroker, a second-rate criminal and his moll and an English nobleman, and throws them all on an ocean liner heading to England. There's also a reformed revivalist who now works as a nightclub singer, and she gets into as much trouble as the rest of them. Identities are hidden, lovers love, singers sing and the gangster finds a way to make a profit on the trip before it's all over. Stages St. Louis presents Anything Goes Tuesday through Sunday (July 17 through August 16) at the Robert G. Reim Theatre at the Kirkwood Community Center (111 South Geyer Road, Kirkwood; 314-821-2407 or www.stagesstlouis.org). Tickets are $20 to $57.
