All Wright Turns

Frank Lloyd Wright had marked influence in Chicago, but his architectural sway in St. Louis is harder to spot. Yet his ties to our city exist — if you just know where to look. Professor Anthony Alofsin from the University of Texas at Austin, an architect himself and a Wright expert, discusses famous Frank during "Frank Lloyd Wright, St. Louis and Organic Architecture," a free lecture hosted by St. Louis' own Frank Lloyd House in Ebsworth Park. At the talk Alofsin sheds light on Wright's connections to the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair and his ideas on organic architecture. The lecture happens at 7 p.m. at the Saint Louis Art Museum in Forest Park, and if you'd also like to have a more immersive Wright experience, call the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park at 314-882-8359 to set up a tour.
