3D Upcycled Stained Glass

When: Tue., March 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m. 2017

Materials saved from the landfill: privacy windows, mirrors, glass scraps Skills you’ll learn: pattern-making, glass cutting, scoring, copper foiling, soldering Participants will learn to use recycled glass, copper foil, flux and lead-free solder to sculpt their 3D object. Theresa, Perennial’s Lead Instructor + Craftswoman, will demonstrate how to safely use a glass cutter and grinder to create custom shapes from privacy windows, mirrors, and clear glass. Note: This class requires hand strength and the use of a very hot tool. Patience, an eye for safety, and hand dexterity will help participants achieve their design goals. Last day to register: 3/23
