The 2013 nominations for the 85th Academy Awards were announced on Thursday, January 10 at 5:30 a.m. L.A. time by actress Emma Stone, 24, and show host Seth MacFarlane, 39, marking the first time the show host announced the nominations since Charlton Heston in 1972. Although we're pretty sure Heston didn't make a failed Hitler joke back in the day. Of the ten possible slots for Best Picture awards, nine were filled in 2013.
