St. Louis Residents Are Just About Over This Winter Weather

All of us right now. - PETER VESSENES / FLICKR

Well, we’ve just about reached our limit here in St. Louis. What used to be good-natured whining about cold weather has turned into uneasy, on-edge complaining and lots of people who are nervous-laughing to keep from crying.

With this winter's never-ending onslaught of snow and ice, howling winds, dreary skies and seemingly constant snow days, we’re all about to lose our damn minds. Parents, in particular, seem on the edge of nervous breakdowns after spending an entire season trapped at home with their spawn while mean-ass Mother Nature rains ice down on the cruel world.

Locals are taking to social media to make sense of this bummer situation, to find comrades in the fight against SAD, to make escape plans to sunnier skies and to dig up predictions on if — ever — we will be free of this oppressive and unnecessary cruelty.

Help is out there. You are not alone. Find your people below.
