Four Found Shot to Death In St. Louis County House, Including One Child

Four people were found shot to death overnight in a north county home, police say. One of the victims is believed to be a ten-year-old boy.

KSDK reports that police arrived at the home, located in the 10400 block of Balmoral Drive in Glasgow Village, around midnight last night after family members of the victims requested a wellness check after not hearing from them since Wednesday night. Police and family entered the home together, where they encountered the grisly scene.

The victims are three males and one female. Names and ages of the victims have not yet been released pending notification of next of kin, but Fox 2 is reporting that people on the scene say the ages range from 10 years old to the early 50s. The Post-Dispatch reports that a woman who spoke with officers says her teenage son is among the deceased, and that neighbors say the woman who rented the home was in her 50s. Police have confirmed one of the deceased was an adult.

It is not yet clear if the killer is among the deceased, according to police.

“Whether or not the individual responsible for this has been located, or was in the home, we just don’t know that yet,” St. Louis County Police Officer Ben Granda tells KMOX.

This is a developing story. Anyone with information related to the crime is asked to contact county police at 636-529-8210 or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.
