The former president of the St. Louis Police Officers Association is going to prison for five years, followed by supervised release, after pleading guilty to two felony counts of possession of child pornography.

Ronald Oldani, 66, made his guilty plea in September but was sentenced today.

Oldani served with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department from 1979 to 2009.

According to the indictment, Oldani knowingly received at least a dozen graphic video clips, including those depicting pre-pubescent girls (and in one case, a boy) being raped. Originally indicted in December 2014, he was slapped with a second set of charges, this time federal, last February.

Many of the details in the court file in Oldani's case are sealed. He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr.
