Need a new mattress? Think the St. Louis Cardinals could win the World Series? A local mattress chain has got a deal for you.

Mattress Source, based in Imperial, Missouri, is offering full refunds on anything bought in its nine Missouri and Illinois stores from now through September 28 if (when?) the Redbirds bring home the national title.

"When the Cardinals win the World Series, you get all your money back," the store says optimistically in a YouTube video released Wednesday.

Things haven't been going so well for Mattress Source lately. The chain filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy this summer, citing more than $150,000 owed to creditors, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

The chain also closed four of its underperforming stores, and the new promotion may be a way to prove to customers that the mattress store isn't lying down on the job.

Mid-September may be a little early to be thinking about the World Series runoff, especially since the Cardinals haven't even earned a spot in the playoffs yet, let alone the National League pennant. But when it comes to post-season baseball, there's nothing wrong with a little unbridled optimism.
