Live in St. Louis? Don't like sports? Still want to have a social life? Here's why everyone in town has athletics on the brain lately:
1. Rams: After the St. Louis Rams lost the game and their quarterback to an injury Sunday, the NFL Network says the team could be eyeing Tim Tebow, also a Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback who has his own meme but hasn't taken a snap since August.
No one really seems to think Tebow is destined for the Lou, but after current quarterback Sam Bradford's injury this weekend, the Rams are surely on the lookout for someone. Tebow is certainly an option.

2. Mizzou: We're No. 5! Not since 2008 has the University of Missouri-Columbia's football team been ranked this highly. When five top-ten teams lost matches this weekend, Mizzou launched forward nine spots to No. 5, behind Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State. Since Mizzou joined the Southeastern Conference last year, sports writers have (annoyingly) loved pontificating over whether the Tigers belong in the league beside powerhouses like the Universities of Alabama, Florida and South Carolina. Now, their place is indisputable.
3. Cardinals: St. Louis is going to the World Series. 'Nuff said.
Congratulations to our sister city across the state!
