The ex-Lindenwood University wrestler charged with knowingly infecting a sexual partner with HIV has an online alter ego named Tiger Mondingo who loves posting shirtless selfies and writes semi-coherent advice for gay men reluctant to "bottom".
Since his arrest in October, five more men have accused Michael "Tiger" Johnson, 21, of having unprotected sex and risking infection of HIV, a Class B felony punishable by 5-15 years in prison. Of the five men, two tested negative for the virus, one stopped cooperating with police and two are being tested, says St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar.
Johnson, who also wrestled at Lincoln College in Illinois, has his own Facebook and Twitter feeds full of wrestling photos, but Tiger Mandingo has his own Facebook profile, a Facebook page with nearly 500 likes, a Twitter feed, Vine and Instagram with posts revealing more and more of his washboard abs. The accounts link to each other and all show multiple images of Johnson.

As Tiger Mandingo, Johnson posts kissy-face selfies and photos of him draped around cute guys up until the day before his arrest, Oct. 10.Johnson admits he isn't the world's greatest reader or writer -- which he makes apparent in the grammar-less and wandering style of his posts (see below) -- but he often reflects on how proud his is to be in college.
The day before his arrest, Johnson posts repeatedly that while he's "m(e)ssed up big time," he was determined to turn a new leaf and lead a happier life.@StLouisLindsay. E-mail the author at Lindsay.Toler@RiverfrontTimes.com.
