A senseless murder in London had a far more mundane effect here across the pond yesterday: CNN's Piers Morgan banned Tea Party firebrand and hometown girl Dana Loesch from his show for using the occasion for a pro-NRA tweet.
Two suspects hacked a British soldier to death with knives in broad daylight yesterday then bragged about their motives to local media and standers-by.
"Was the guy with the machete a member of the NRA?" Loesch tweeted. "Asking for a friend."
Here is footage of the direct aftermath of the attack, ICYMI, but be warned that it is graphic:
Here's how Loesch's exchange went down with Morgan:
And here is the eventuality of this exchange:
Can't stomach @dloesch goading Brits with her outrageous tweeting re beheaded soldier story. Unfollowed, and banned from my show.— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) May 22, 2013
Daily RFT tweeted Loesch for a comment but received none.
In conclusion, everyone stop trolling tragedy. Thanks.
