Last month, we told you about a 22-year-old suspect who St. Louis police say asked a woman for her number -- and then decided to rob her at gunpoint when she declined.
Today, we bring you the story of a sixteen-year-old boy who allegedly assaulted the girl he wanted to date -- after "aggressively" trying to persuade her.
Police say that the unnamed boy pulled out a knife on a seventeen-year-old girl at the intersection of Delor Street and Ridgewood Avenue in south St. Louis yesterday afternoon at around 3:30 p.m.
Police have few details on the incident and it appears the girl was not seriously injured.
Officials responded to a call for a disturbance yesterday and the victim reported that she had raised her hand "to protect herself" after the boy pulled out a knife. She was cut on her right hand during the scuffle.
About his romantic pursuits, the report says, "The suspect approached the victim and a disturbance ensued after he aggressively attempted to persuade a relationship with her."
At age sixteen, he is considered a juvenile and police say the vehicle is currently listed as wanted.
