On Saturday night, five men were involved in a shooting near Riverview Plaza that left one twenty-year-old man dead and another injured. Two suspects remain at large.
Tyrell Washington, twenty, was fatally shot in the chest and found lying on the sidewalk, police say. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Another twenty-year-old male was hit in the wrist but refused medical treatment.
This is the 26th homicide of the year in the city of St. Louis.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday by the shopping center located at Riverview Drive and Bellefontaine Road.
Police are now searching for two suspects who allegedly opened fire on the three victims.
At this point, there are few details on Washington, who lived on the 9400 block of Adler Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located Victim #1 lying on the sidewalk. Victim #1 suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Victim #2 suffered a graze wound to his wrist. He refused medical treatment. Victim #3 was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
