Here's a horrible story.

Yesterday, a 22-year-old black female named Renota Jones was standing in the middle of the street on the 8300 block of North Broadway in the Baden neighborhood, according to the city cops.

At about 5:19 p.m., a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck smashed into her.

The collision knocked her into the northbound lanes.

Then, while in the northbound lanes, she was hit again, this time by a Chevy Trailblazer SUV.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jones' listed address was on the 2600 block of Expo.

That's all the details the police have released so far. The investigation, they say, is ongoing.
