On Thursday evening, a pizza delivery woman left Pizza Milano (on South Grand Boulevard) to deliver some food.

Cops describe her as a 30-year-old white female.

She arrived on the 7100 block of Virginia Avenue in the Carondelet neighborhood just after 8 pm, city cops say.

She knocked on the door, but nobody answered.

She decided to walk around to the back of the house.

That's when a couple of thugs approached her in the alleyway. They were carrying bricks.

One hit her in the back of the head, the other guy smashed a brick into her face, breaking her nose.

They reportedly didn't take anything, and ran off when she started screaming. The victim described the pair as black males in their late teens.

Police say a different delivery driver was robbed at this same residence less than a week ago, and that the house is actually vacant.

The investigation is ongoing.

This comes less than a month after a Domino's employee was robbed behind their location on South Grand at Arsenal street. For our coverage of the recent string of attacks on pizza delivery folks, see below.
