Catrell Churchman: St. Louis Homicide No. 65; Succumbs to Injuries from Walk-Up Shooting


Catrell Churchman, the 20-year-old black man critically injured in a Thursday-night shooting in Tower Grove East, succumbed to his wounds and died in the hospital this morning. He had been shot in the back, chest, groin and hand. The other man wounded in the attack remains in stable condition after being shot in the shoulder.

Police released a description of Catrell Churchman's murderer. He's a black male in his early 20s, approximately 5'5'' with a slim build. He was wearing black shorts, a white t-shirt and a black skull cap.
