Ira Steele: St. Louis Homicide No. 58; Shot Multiple Times by Three Assailants

Ira Steele, a 26-year-old black man, was killed last night just before midnight while standing outside a home in the 3800 block of Louisiana Avenue in the Gravois Park neighborhood. According to the police incident report, Steele was with an unidentified 20-year-old black female when three black males in a red Pontiac G6 approached them and opened fire. Steele was hit numerous times in the face and chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was also shot multiple times in the back, but survived the attack. She's currently in serious condition at an area hospital.
