Albert Pujols Gets Post-Game Hit, Which Sadly Won't Improve his Average

Albert Pujols went 2-for-5 last night for the Angels and picked up two RBI, bringing up his average to .198. He might have broken .200 if his post-game hit on Erick Aybar counted.

Aybar ducked his hand in the post-game high-five line, tapping Pujols in his twice-surgically repaired elbow. Pujols responded by whipping his glove at Aybar for a clean hit.

I'd rule that a solid single up the middle. Aybar appears to laugh it off as a playful gesture -- they are teammates, after all -- but Pujols clearly doesn't find it funny. Is it the pressure of his dismal season getting to him, or was he always this grumpy?
