Jahmel Luster: St. Louis Homicide No. 33; Shot By Men Following in Car

Jahmel Luster, 30, died Saturday morning from gunshots sustained while driving in the 3000 block of Goodfellow Boulevard in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood (above). According to the police, Luster and two companions pulled out of a parking lot just after 1 a.m. Saturday and noticed another car following them. Two men in that car opened fire, hitting Luster in the arm, leg and face. An unidentified 32-year-old woman in the car with Luster was injured by broken glass, while the third person escaped injury. Police continue the investigation.
