A car drove through a fence and onto private property in the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue after 1 a.m. this morning and ended up on the MetroLink tracks. An eastbound train hit the car, severely injuring the two people in the car. The train was sparsely peopled, and no injuries were reported among passengers.

This is the second MetroLink-car collision in the past eight days. MetroLink's Rider Alerts system reports no delays at this time.
