Antrelo Lampkin: St. Louis Homicide No. 104; Shot Dead Following Argument

An argument turned deadly yesterday in the 8000 block of Church Road (below) in north St. Louis.

According to police, 39-year-old Antrelo Lampkin and a 26-year-old suspect got into a verbal exchange around 11:40 p.m. The younger man then pulled out a gun and shot Lampkin several times before fleeing the scene. Lampkin, who lived on the same block where he was shot, was pronounced dead last night at an area hospital.

Police say they've identified the suspect as an acquaintance of Lampkin but have yet to locate him.
