St. Louis Swimming Pools Open Today

  • The old Faiground Park pool was more like a small lake.
It would have been nice if the St. Louis public pools opened last week during that scorching heat wave, but, hey, better late than never.

So it is today that all three public swimming pools in St. Louis officially open for business, if you can call it that. Unlike in past years, this year admission to the pools is free for city residents.

The pools are located at Fairground Park (north city), Marquette Park (south city) and Chambers Park (Midtown). Hours are generally noon to 6 p.m. every day of the week.

For more information, check out the Park's Department website.
