Comment of the Day: Teen Who Defrauded TitleMax = Modern Day Robin Hood


Today's comment comes in response to a post about a teenage manager of a north county TitleMax accused this week of making fraudulent loans for her friends.

Reader J. Brad Hicks suggests that perhaps the 19-year-old suspect was just fulfilling a modern-day folklore
Given that they make their money by stealing from the most vulnerable of us, given that pretty much everything about that entire line of legalized loan-sharking is fraudulent, there's a limit as to how outraged I can feel when someone steals from a title-loan company. Part of me wishes more people would do it.
