Travion Harris: St. Louis Homicide No. 119; Fourteen-Year-Old Killed in Drive By


A 14-year-old boy was shot dead outside his home yesterday in the 2900 block of Hebert (below) in the city's JeffVanderLou Neighborhood.


According to St. Louis police, Travion Harris was struck by gunfire multiple times in the chest around 5:06 p.m. When police arrived minutes later, the boy was inside his home and pronounced dead on the scene. Witnesses described seeing a red sedan, possibly a Pontiac or Chevy, fleeing the scene.
