David Davis: St. Louis Homicide No. 116; Shot Dead in Broad Daylight by Suspect in Hoodie

David Davis was gunned down around 10:40 a.m. Friday in an alleyway in the 4700 block of Sacramento (below) in north St. Louis.

According to police, witnesses heard two men arguing in the alley shortly before hearing shots fired. Davis, 27, of the 6300 block of Olive in University City, was shot multiple times in the head and chest. Police discovered his body in a backyard.

A suspect described only as a male in a dark hooded sweatshirt was observed walking away from the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
