Elvin Craig: St. Louis Homicide No. 113; 69-Year-Old Man Dies From Beating

Elvin Craig died Monday evening from injuries suffered during a beating earlier this month.

Witnesses told police that they saw three male suspects running from the scene around 8:30 p.m. November 5 in the 3600 block of Penrose. The 69-year-old Craig had been struck in the head and was taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition.

Craig had lived in the 4300 block of Obear, just down the street from where he was assaulted. An investigation is ongoing.
