It's a boy! And it's another boy! The Fertility Partnership, a fertility clinic that opened in St. Peters last December, has just produced its first two babies: twin boys conceived via in-vitro fertilization in February and delivered via Cesarean section on November 2.
"We are ecstatic at the birth of these two little boys," Dr. Elan Simckes, founder of Fertility Partnership, said in a press release. "We are so grateful that we were able to help this couple become a family, and this is the first of many more births we'll soon be celebrating with patients who have trusted us to help them achieve their dream of having a baby."
The Fertility Partnership has positioned itself as a low-cost fertility clinic, boasting treatments for 30 to 50 percent less than the national average. It also boasts patients that travel from all over the U.S. for treatment, and some from as far away as Nigeria. (The parents of the newborn twins live on the East Coast.)
