Travis Parker: St. Louis Homicide No. 104; Gunned Down on Washington Avenue

A 20-year-old man is dead after he was shot walking down the 1500 block of Washington Ave. (below) early this morning.

St. Louis police report that Travis Parker was walking west down the street around 2:28 a.m. when a red Grand Prix drove by and stopped.

A suspect, described as a black male in his early 20s with ear-length dreadlocks died blond at the tips, got out of the car and started shooting.

The suspect then fled in a vehicle described as a Green Ford Taurus which pulled behind the Grand Prix and headed west. Parker, of the 1900 block of Stillwater in Hanley Hills, was struck multiple times and transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. An investigation is ongoing.
