According to the Post-Dispatch, witnesses told police they saw two men hop in a car and head west on nearby Bartmer Avenue -- where Swisher made his home -- shortly after the killing.

The Swisher slaying wasn't the only gun play that went down last night in the city.

Around 1:30 a.m., three people were wounded in a drive-by on the 8900 block of Annetta Avenue. A shooter in a white minivan wounded two 21-year-olds and a 19-year-old in the hands and feet.
