Attention St. Louis two-wheelers:

Great Rivers Greenway, the agency developing a ring of trails and parks around St. Louis, is hoping you'll have time this week to stop by two open houses Wednesday and Thursday to comment on your hopes for the future of on-street biking in the region. (Don't worry. If you can't stop by in person, you can leave your thoughts online at stlbikeplan.com.)

Input from the public this week will aid transportation planners in deciding how to connect existing bicycle plans and facilities, identifying gaps in key routes and facilities, prioritizing projects and providing design recommendations.

Wednesday's open house takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Maryland Heights Community Center. Thursday's take place during the same hours at the Richmond Height's Community Center.
