The St. Louis County Prosecutor's Office yesterday charged 18-year-old Troy Mills with involuntary manslaughter in the killing of his friend, 20-year-old DeAngelo Marble.

According to police, Mills was at Marble's residence -- an apartment in the 3000 block of Springtime Lane in Florissant -- when a handgun he was playing with accidentally fired around 9 p.m. Monday.

Yesterday Marble died from the gunshot.

Mills, of the 5600 block of Eagle Valley Drive in Country Club Hills, is being held on a $40,000 cash-only bond.
